1483 (Brentwood) Win The Essex Wing Postal Shoot

Carver Barracks is the home of the Essex Wing HQ and it was also the location for the Essex Wing Postal shoot competition. 1483 sent a shooting detail to represent the squadron and in the icy cold conditions on the outdoor range the cadets did the squadron proud by brining home the 1st place trophy.

What makes this achievement even more remarkable was that due to staff resource issues the squadron had only been able to schedule a few practice session before the competition. Cdt Yates and Cdt Wentworth gave exceptional performances and came 2nd and 3rd respectively, doing so well that they were invited to join the Wing shooting team.

1483 are extremely proud of the shooting detail who carried the squadrons hopes on their shoulders and returned triumphant.
